Abigail Wilson is a Writer/Director and Actor based in London.
Her debut music video 'Mean Friend' by the electronic duo Modeselektor caught the attention of the UKMVA's securing her a win in 2021 for Best Dance & Electronic Video - Newcomer. She followed up with another win at the UKMVA's in 2023 for Best Rock Video - Newcomer for Stone - Left Right Forward.
In 2024 she wrote and directed a film ‘Triple The Vote’ for Upvote – a youth-led, non-partisan campaign to increase voter turnout amongst young people in the UK. The film was viewed more than 2 million times on social media and through billboards and out-of-home advertising. The film was featured on David Reviews (Five Stars), Dazed, Little Black Book, Shots and more.
Her debut Short film 'Overdrive' was selected for BAFTA qualifying London Short Film Festival in January 2025, it has been longlisted for the upcoming 1.4 awards, and is currently doing the festival circuit worldwide.
